The latest release from Dark Sacred Night is The Perfect Storm, a song about Mary Anning (1799-1847) who although being uneducated, a woman and from the lowest class became an esteemed palaeontologist, able to hold her own with the scientists and educated of the day. She was never truly accredited or recognised (because of her background and gender) until after her death.

Available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and other digital platforms

The gravel toned lead vocals and warm overdriven electric guitars, interwoven into a tapestry of bass and driven acoustics... Set the scene for a Dark Sacred Night

Based around the songs of Dave Rowley. Dave established a career fronting numerous rock bands in parallel to becoming a respected singer songwriter on the solo circuit. Dave and his bands have opened for such acts as Big Country, The Quireboys, The Alarm, Wishbone Ash and Marseille. With a range of influences his songs are littered with references to his rock 'n' roll heroes. Dave is a unique and passionate performer and together with Anthony Hinkley on guitar and Jude Rowley on bass, Dark Sacred Night create a style and delivery that is very much their own.
